Yesterday we did a first tour through the city…
First, some facts about it: Trondheim is the 3rd most populated city with a little more than 168.000 and the 256th biggest/smallest city in Norway.
When we went to the city, we very quickly noticed that we will have to take care where to step, because the streets and sidewalks are littered with massive ice and/or snow It was not too easy to get to the city center itself… and to be honest, it was kinda dangerous

Yesterday I had my trip to Trondheim, Norway. But is was not as pleasant as I expected…
The journey started in Zurich, where we had to wait quiet a long time to get checked in in the “group check-in”. Boarding was unproblematic and the flight was nice too. It took about two hours.
Arrived in Oslo, the uncomfortable part started… Getting out of the plane it said that domestic flights need to pick up the luggage and check it in again… What the fuck?! Why that? In every flight I had until now it was not like that…
Well okay, I was there picking up my luggage and… yeah… they actually broke my bag!! The wheel was defect when I picked it up.

Tomorrow, the day will be there to travel to Trondheim (Norway). Why are you asking?
Well… I am participating in a so-called “Intensive Program” (IP) for the FH Vorarlberg. Those IPs are every year and some universities from around Europe are participating (Dornbirn (AT), Trondheim (N), Amsterdam (NL) and a university from Ireland, but I don’t know which one). And this year it’s taking place in Trondheim!

Today, I traveled back to Austria (Dornbirn)! But before I could start my trip, I needed to fill up motor oil, coolant and “window-cleaning-liquid”. I also visited my best friend and his girlfriend before I left the country
I took about 6,5 hours to get here, including all my stops. It is nice to be back here. But unfortunately I don’t have a room yet here. I have to be ina friend’s guest room until Sunday.
For everyone who want to contact me, I have my Austrian number in my mobile phone now.

On Thursday, 22nd of January, I could finally start my trip back to home sweet home Luxembourg.
I took the ferry in Rødby, almost 4 hours too early. But thank God, they had space for me on their ferry, going in the next 10 minutes. It was sunny, but fricking cold at the ferry
I made a night stop in Hamburg and I continued the next day my 7-hours trip to Luxembourg. It was raining a lot, which made me slowing down on the high-way. I took 7 hours instead of the 6 planned. But I arrived safe and healthy.
I uploaded the video where we burnt the “viejo” on New Year’s 2008/09.
Short explaination: It is a doll, filled with firecrackers, shower with gazonline and put on fire Enjoy!

Part Five – Leaving on a jetplane
As you can imagine, this is always the saddest part! I was there for almost 3 weeks (20 days), and I won’t see her again until she visits me in April this year. But I know that it will be totally worth it
Important news for everyone planning a tripTO or THROUGH the USA: Starting today, every citizen of one of the 35 countries who don’t need a VISA to enter the United States of America needs to fill out a new mandatory online-form on the Internetbefore getting into the airplane. The form is available in multiple languages.
The new form is called ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). It has to be filled out at least 72 hours before getting into the airplane. The electronic form is identical with the old green “Waiver VISA” form, which was used until now.
Filling out is free. But travel agencies might ask money when they fill it out for you. Everybody, who NOT filled out the form before arriving in the USA, will normally not be allowed to enter the country. So, remember it for your next USA trip
New Year’s Eve is the day in Mexico, where everyone puts the finest clothes and look the best. I find this kind of mean, because they eat so much in December. Anyway, we all got in very fancy clother. I worn a black suit (bought it new there), a gray shirt (bought it new there as well) and a dark red tie (borrowed from Yle’s dad). As I said: I looked bad-ass fancy! As Christmas also New Year’s Eve have a lot of traditions in Mexico…
