Since some weeks, I am “following” a guy (Ray William Johnson) on YouTube who has a pretty funny (twice-weekly) show. I am already a big fan, but what I found out several days ago is, that he has a Rap band.
Yeah, I know what you are thinking… “Marc? Rap?? WHAT UP!?”. But this the one and only Rap band I like (probably only because of that guy… and of course the lyrics ).
Well, I like that band and even if you’re not a rap fan, but fan of funny lyriks, check out those “FAttY SPiNS“…

Lately I was playing guitar with my buddy René, when we found it funny to just check the charts in the radio and try to play it on the guitar. Well, one of the songs was “If A Song Could Get Me You” by Marit Larsen.
After watching the YouTube video and finding the guitar chords online, I decided to give it a try. Well, it feels pretty good playing it. It is easy to play and has a very nice rythm!
So my recommendation of the day for the guitarists here: If A Song Could Get Me You by Marit Larsen
Surfing on YouTube, I found two videos from The Baseballs with unpublished songs of them, performed at “Hessentag 2009″.
The “new songs” are “Pokerface” (by Lady Gaga) and “Basket Case” (by Greenday).
The videos are made by unprofessional fans (you see drunk people in the videos), but still you can hear the songs
As some of us need some motivation for the next few weeks to succeed in what we have been fighting for 3 years… (Yeah… I talk about the bachelor thesis)… I found a song which is quiet motivating.
» Joe Esposito – You’re the best around
It is sound track of “Karate Kid”, but I know it from Barney’s “Get-psyched mix” (TV serie: How I Met Your Mother) and it appears in a serie I have been watching until it went to summer break “Reaper”.
Have fun getting motivated! If you have other motivational music, don’t hesitate to comment on this post
In the TV, I saw an article about a new German band.
They are called “The Baseballs“. What they do is, covering new songs (like “Umbrella”, “Hot ‘n cold”, “Bleeding Love”, …) in 50’s style. I like it a lot, and you like Elvis, you should totally listen to it.
The band published 1 single “Umbrella” and 1 album “Strike”. I really think about buying the album. Not because I cannot get it online, but because I want to finance them My favourite song from them at the moment is “Hot ‘n Cold”
Recently, I found a very nice video on YouTube. It shows Breakfast at Tiffany’s (by Deep Blue Something), one of my favorite songs, in an A Capella version.
The video is worth watching it. In my eyes, it is a very cool interpretation of that song. I LIKE IT!!

Yesterday, a friend showed me a video on YouTube where I was just laughing about because it is one frickin’ piece of a genious
The comedian Rob Paravonian tells about how much he hates the song “Canon” by Pachelbel, because he used to play it as a kid on the chello. And how this song is following him. And no… he is not paranoid
There is nothing else to say. Just watch the video and have fun:
I found some interesting videos on the Internet about learning my mother tongue, “Lëtzebuergesch” (Luxembourgish). Basically it is a mix between German and Frensh, where German has a bigger influence in the language than Frensh. And NO, it is not a dialect, like the English Wikipedia says, because it is declared as one of the three official languages in Luxembourg.
I uploaded the video where we burnt the “viejo” on New Year’s 2008/09.
Short explaination: It is a doll, filled with firecrackers, shower with gazonline and put on fire Enjoy!
